Soundclick is a musical site. You can upload your stuff or listen. It's Soundclick.com.

The folks at Soundclick are sure likin' "In America". They keep adding it as their favorite or putting it on their station. Lots of nice comments in the "Forum", too. More smiles to help me stay UP.

Walter,I love the guitars in this. A really great sounding, polished production. One observation- just wondering if the drums sounded a little 'over-compressed' to anybody else? I use quotes there as I don't have enough prod chops to say it's compression for certain... They seemed to be lacking some of the high end my ears were expecting. Damn presumptuous ears!!Also- whoever is singing did a fine job for you!

"First time I heard "In America" I was struck by all your symbolism in and imagery in that song....'their blood is in the soil and in this heart of mine' is just a GREAT line. I don't tell you that I like "In America" just to be nice....it is a KILLER song. Whether you are conservative, liberal or moderate, In America is so well written.... it strikes a chord with everyone....heck, hehe, Lee Greenwood's "I'm Proud To Be An American" doesn't even compare."Nice compliment. I blush!! Gotta give Chits the "Thank you"'s. She gave me sumthin' I could use to fish with, maybe reel a few more folks in.

Got an interesting request from a young lady at Christian Songwriters Netwk. She wants to perform "In America" for her church. The trick?! She needs to do it on the piano. Now, THAT should be interesting!!
