All y'all are so nice, I sure appreciate reading everyone's perspective. It's nice to know that it happens sometimes and I think the weather, time of year, whatever, has something to do with it. The flu probably does too.I get you, John, about forcing yourself sometimes and I hear you, Vicky, about giving up and watching Buffy. I finally just gave up and went to bed today. Lots out with the flu around here and they've got it worse than me so I'm thinking of them and feeling a little better with some rest behind the belt. Dave, thanks for the flattery, so nice of you and all y'all, Bird, Chits, Casey, ibanez, arkjack, everybody, I really appreciate it. I see the sun risin' on me, and it helps to know I'm not alone in the good times and the not-so-thrilling ones. Bob, sure glad your son liked RE, that's nice to hear. How's that grandbaby? Are you a proud grandpa?

Hi Squids,Yep a very proud Grandpa--- She cut her first CD this weekend- she loves hitting the keyboard- and of course I had to record it. It was quite avant garde ( Sascha is only 9 months old). When looking at the printout of what she played, she has amazing rhythm. Here's a picture of Sascha at her keyboard... http://www.reddproductions.net/sascha.jpgGlad you are feeling better!Bob

Okay. You're all outta sync, know you got a good life, kid you never met sees you as a guy to look up to................hmmmm. Seems like a song is in there somewhere. Either that, or find the biggest, baddest wooden roller coaster and ride it about ten times straight! Hell, works for me.

By the by, I live in a house with my wife, two daughters, a female basset and a female pug. Everyone is a guy to me. Helps me keep my sanity. Hint: Roller Coasters do work! It's the lines that'll kill ya!

Clearly, you're not a mom. Talk about the world's most unsung job, rewarded by occasional bouts of gratitude (until they're in their 30s). Hearing a teenager think my music is cool is kinda up there for me at the moment. The rollercoaster sounds good though. Maybe.

Hey Squiddy, how you doing? Sorry about your blahs, I get that SADS thing every winter and it's hard to get anything creative going. All I can do is pile on with a few more cliches (keep putting one foot infront of another, ahhh.., the sun will come up... you get the picture) and offer this. Been going through the normal winter shit when my lovely wife showed me a picture of the young Katie Holmes carrying the ugliest handbag in the world and the caption read "Tom buys Katie $10,000.00 handbag". Well I can tell you the song wrote itself and I love it, one of my better efforts, and then another idea came to me in the shower. My point is inspiration will strike (most likely sooner, not later) and that will most likely be the genesis to propell you forward out of your present state. As I was walking today with the new tune on a loop in my headphones I realized I had the biggest smile on my face and it struck me, creation is a powerful thing, I don't ever think I really understood that until today. Hope my ramblings have helped... Geo
