Sometimes we hit dead ends in songwriting. When you've hit the wall, wouldn't it be nice to have a set of random instructions or hints that give you other ways to approach the piece? It could work for lyrics, music, or most any creative work. Brian Eno and Peter Schmidt developed many "oblique strategies" and have added to them over the years. You can "draw from the deck" on this site:Brian Eno's Oblique StrategiesEach time you refresh the page you get a different instruction. Can lead to very interesting changes, or nothing, or just a lot of fun...Good Luck!
