Writing From A Title, part 2
Post em up. All those unused, undeveloped titles you've wondered about. Here's one I came up with last night (that I have several lyrical ideas about the directions it could take...):"Messiah Sunrise"

This week, I was in the process of writing a song called "Just a Sunny Day In Omaha." And then that mall shooting happened, so I've put it on hold for now. My timing couldn't have been worse. My heart just wasn't in it.

My heart just wasn't in it.But, Chits, what a TERRIFIC title that could be for a heartbreaking tune about the people lost in the shooting. I'd weep the whole time I was trying to work on it, but it could mean SO much to the survivors. What enormous HEALING possibilities. You're a healer, and I'd encourage you to put a different spin on it and give it a try.

"stranger danger & the school girls"originally was gonna be a band name (it was me and three 5"4 girls so, you can see the gimmick...) but lately I have been thinking it could work as a song

also I was think for the same song, the title of "pocket full of candy" not about literally abducting girls, just about liking them as young as legally possible

OK, that's just twisted enough to PROVE that you have a place on these boards. Ted

OR, there's the angle of being as scared as when a stranger comes at me with a pocket full of candy.Or maybe not. What a creepy visual. Lord, that's not like me at all.
