I've written & produed (final masters) over 50 tracks & songs in about 6 month (autumn 2006 - spring 2007).11 of them found a deal through taxi in the meantime, 2 more songs are placed by myself on a album of gothic-rockers, release date is autumn 2007 (germany, switzerland, autriche, poland, u.k. etc.), another title was placed by myself for a popgroup in the U.K.it can be cool & challenging to work like that but believe me: you can't go on and on like that forever... currently I'm taking time to learn new stuff and implement it right in new tracks. that doesn't produce the same quantity but is more fun and educational....just my experience with "produce amount X in time Y". I can imagine that such project is motivative for writer - so let's go for it if it feels right for you.cheers,martin

I'm holding back till the approaching deadline gets my blood going. Not really, but I am managing to leap out behind the pack in a wonderfully even-paced start. I have set a tempo that will be easy to maintain. Too bad it is nonfunctional for the purpose.

I having a tough time just doing the 20 or so I've got going. Trying to learn the world DAW and this cotton pickin' Pro tools. Takes the life out of me!

I've got the basic themes of 4 short pieces in 6 days - I'm still struggling with my learning curve doing more "advanced" tasks, like better controlling the attributes of different VIs and editing different audio loops so they will work in a piece. Good challenge, Hummingbird - definitely a motivator!

I'm way behind.... I wrote a lot of snippets... stuff I could say was a song... but all except two are what I would call songs "written to the finish"..... the rest of the stuff was ....?? .... trash... silly stuff.... playing around.... ?..... does it count toward the 50?
