Uptemp-Olympics forward!!

Post by jeffgreenleaf » Tue Jul 29, 2008 12:23 pm

My harmonica song Half Way House was forwarded to the Dramatic sports listing (in connection with the 2008 Summer Olympics)! This was the song I wrote for the High Octane listing a ways back. Check it!I'm posting it on the myspace page.Half Way Househttp://www.myspace.com/jeffgreenleafDRAMATIC SPORTS SONGS AND INSTRUMENTALS IN ALL MODERN STYLES are needed by an East Coast Music Library/Publisher that will be working on numerous TV commercials and specials in connection with the 2008 Summer Olympics. The Publisher is looking for a variety of styles and approaches, from sweeping & regal orchestral arrangements to modern and uptempo rock/pop/electronica arrangements. Songs with vocals will be considered, but the lyric content must be in line with the essence of the Olympic games. Exact sports references are not recommended here, but rather lyrics with inspiring and universal messages that might highlight a dramatic/emotional story from the games. While the stylistic range here is broad, a modern tone is a necessity. All tempos will be considered, but excellent performances are key and broadcast quality is a must. These pieces should run between :60 and 3 min. in length. This company's deal is typically an exclusive agreement with a 5-year reversion clause.

Yeah Jeff,Awesome stuff man, that Harmonica kicks ass - you sometimes forget how having the unthought of instrument in a track can really make it and the Harmonica surely made it Rock! Congrats on the forward, I hope it gets signed!Take CareB

Jeff!!! That's great news!! I love this track of yours-- that harmonica and heavy beat are such a great unusual combination, and I've got my bets on this one being USED USED USED!!! I can't wait to hear this one on TV soon-- I'm going to celebrate when I hear it!!! All the best luck to you!!Raags
