Favorite B movie songs
Don't know if this question has been asked before, but does anyone have a favorite B movie (as in cult movies) song? Can't remember the exact song title, but I've always loved "Dammit Janet" (those lines) from "The Rocky Horror Picture" show.

From the 1988 John Cusack/Tim Robbins classic, "Tapeheads:""Baby Doll," recorded by Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo fame; "Any Ordinary Man," by Sam & Dave; and especially the "Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles" jingle. Most people have never heard of this movie. Go rent it RIGHT NOW.And the entire soundtrack of "Xanadu."

Whatever the name is of the song that goes: "Mexican guys go to high school, take Spanish and get D," by Cheech and Chong in Up in Smoke.

Thanks for your list, Kelysian.....yeah, I'll check some of those movies out. LOL, Ed. I love that "Up In Smoke Song" too....but I thought the lyrics were "Mexican Americans go to nightschool and take Spanish and get a B." (instead of a D)....Well to be politically correct here....a lot of Americans take English and get an F. It's funny you mentioned that song because it's one of my faves.Drew....I guess I'm showing my age here 'coz I was actually alive when "One Tin Soldier" first came out....brings back a lot of memories.

Hands down favorite B movie is "Phantom of The Paradise" a 1974 film by Brian de Palma. It's a cross between "Rocky Horror Show" and "Phantom Of The Opera". The main character was the inspiration for Darth Vader. A must see.Anyway, the best song in there is a ballad named "Old Souls". It's incredibly good. It could be a hit today if it was covered.Vermeer

Re: Favorite B movie songs
My favorite is "One I Love" by The Sextants from Touchstone Pictures 1993 teen zombie movie "My Boyfriend's Back".Why? 'Cause it was my song and me singin' over the end credits, so I got all the huge money rolling in from BMI...well, okay, it was just a few hundred, but still...Y'know, it's actually a pretty funny movie.http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0107626/
