First a book deal, then the cover of National Enquirer, then your own stint on a reality based celebrity TV show! No publicity is bad publicity.Rosie's spot on "The View" ?

Quote:Um. Make 500 posts in just over a month Have a thick skin, and not run away at the slightest hint of negativity. Have a good sense of humour. Be stunningly attractive. Have a voice like an angel. Make music like the gods. Oh dear. This is beginning to sound a bit like a lonely hearts ad. Truthfully though. There are only two things I think you require. Those are humility and patience. Are you saying I've a thin skin?!! That's it! I quit!!!
I shall wipe every tear from their eyes....

I like the quote "Cut me and I'll bleed".If, however you say "Touch me and I'll bleed" then you've got skin like tissue paper. I've seen you take a bit of criticism Walter, and you're still here. You old crocodile (skin that is ) I'm just waiting for the next victim to feel the wrath of the Taxi 'Wannabe' crew I've got an inkling that someone that posted today might be in line for the special treatment. We're not too bad on here (I'm quite new myself, but I've made some contribution). We only bite greedy hands.

Re: Suggestions for Newbies
When you post...Be exceedingly politically correct... As in, present yourself in a way that you believe others would find acceptable. Write your posts with so much excruciating detail, that you are convinced you couldn't possibly be misunderstood.Pretend to have no humanistical imperfections in your character. Work on your kissy-kissy persona. Quell every contrary response to your post with a jovial sense of "change the subject"...Always be ready to back off on your opinion when someone disagrees. Then you will get a humanistical reply from me... Maybe...

Nomi! You're lurking too! It's late and I'm going to bed. Have a great 4th with the BBQ. I'm doing the same at a friend's, ya know... Talk to you this week. With any luck, I'll have a chunk of music for you before I blow up my studio...See ya...
