Want to go need advice

I want to go to the rally. I live in NJ and have a performance on November 6th at night. Should I fly to LA on Saturday? or will I miss most everything and wait till next year? What do you think?

Can you fly direct or get an overnight flight? Many people fly in early Saturday morning. There is usually a lot going on until late Sunday afternoon, and many people stay through till Monday. You'd miss Friday and Saturday's classes and panels though - I guess it depends on what you want to do at the rally. If you wouldn't get there until Sat. evening and your going with the intention of attending a lot of the classes and panels, I'd wait (only because of how late in the day you'd arrive). If you could get there earlier in the day or are goingfor the ability to meet your taxi peers and soak up the incredible energy and creativity, I'd go for it. HTH

Personally I wouldn't go if I couldn't make either Friday or Saturday. If you could get to the hotel by 9 am Saturday to check in, at least you would be able to attend some classes and panels that day. Any reason you can't fly out after your gig?
