Malibu Dave!

Dave Walton stayed a few days after the Rally, and I took him on a tour of Malibu Canyon, Pacific Coast Highway, and past Zuma Beach to "El Matador" Beach.We had a great walk & talk, and he helped me so much with a personal problem I've been dealing with.I thought it was going to be cold at the beach, but after about 15 minutes I suggested we should go in the shade of the beach rocks because it was so sunny! --- Pelicans were doing their thing, and the sea was pretty calm. It was a gorgeous day!Then, I took him down a lane across PCH where the "rich people" live (other than those that can live on the ocean). Dave preferred the huge lots and ranches there as compared to squeezing into the homes on the ocean. Someday ---Thanks, Dave, for your companionship. I really appreciated it.Best,Ern

Ern:Dave was the second Dot I met at the Rally.Great guy for sure...................Didn't get much chance to chat..........he's pretty popular and all Actually he met my wife before he met me as I was changing clothes while my wife was holding our place in line. My wife used to live in Malibu some time ago and still speaks fondly of those times.

And a place in Mandiville Canyon, and a place in Aspen. And he's a DEMOCRAT! Amazing.We always go to his Malibu home for a 4th of July party, and when either he and/or Danny DeVito pay for a fireworks barge that comes up the coast, it's a BLAST.
