Hey Dave, you got alligator skin, or is that a pullover?
I put the kettle on, it didn't suit me.

Personally I look forward to meeting all of you, dots and non-dots alike.CamLove the alliteration there, Cam.

Dave K, Dave W and chits, !!Lookit, all I'm askin' for is a lil less lecturing of non-attendees. That's it, not much. Feel free to do handstands, drag out the pom poms about the Rally (it's a given!), go crazy widdit. Jes give those of us who aren't goin' a lil credit for bein' wise about our circumstances and makin' good decisions. Has nothin' ta do with how much we'll miss meetin' each other. Vix, I know you been savin' fo the Rally. This is a wonderful opp for you again this year, go girl! I'm sorry I won't meetcha too (what? No siren convention? hahahah) and I'm all fo your excitement and anticipation. It's natural. well, okay, maybe some of the dot stuff isn't totally natural. Casey's butt dot.....I dunno. Dave Walton, glad ta see you've resurrected the espionage career. Double-oh-dot!

Re: LaMont Dozier... Wow.
I'm a non Rally goer. Being halfway round the world from the rally is one reason. Money: $2000 round trip travel. $4000 if my wife comes too. Increasing daily as the markets crash and burn. But: I could have found the money: we're both in Europe for a month early next year, and that's equally far away. And my daughter would kill me if I backed out of that... Another reason, more important: not ready for it or at least, not ready enough to benefit enough from several thousand dollars expenditure. This may change next rally: depends on the progress I can make in the meantime. Now all of this must apply to a lot of people. In my dayjob I earn reasonably, or at least I did up to Friday and hopefully continue to do so...so drop down to lower rather than "reasonably" earnings and just the transcontinental US costs of travel must stop a lot. I didn't take umbrage at the cheerleading, but thank you all the same Squids for your gentle reminders! That said, I wish I could have one o' them there Dave Walton mole badges. I reckon I've earnt it...

Hey Tim:Shoot, I wouldn't postpone a trip to europe either. Wow! Don't forget to post pictures somewhere, k? I'd love to see. I'm afraid the european thing is still jes a dream fo me but I get a lot of pleasure thinking about it. I'm all good with the cheerleading too. Go Dots! Note to Case: Call more often. You know. The 900 number. And who knows? I might make it next year too then.
