Re: One out of two for CCM listing
To clarify, I believe there is a difference between a "CCM" song and a Praise & Worship song. I believe that a P&W song can be a CCM song, but a CCM is not necessarily a P&W song. That being said, here are four songs that are in the latest CCLI top 10 chart that do not have a 2nd verse - "Open the Eyes of My Heart," "You Are My King (Amazing Love)," "Lord I Lift Your Name On High", and "Holy Is The Lord." You'll notice that several of those songs have been around for awhile.
Imagine a steel cage match between Daughtry, Coldplay, Paramore and Demon Hunter with Joe Satriani as the referee...

Great job! Very hooky. I think I'll be singing it all night. I got 2 out of 3 on this listing. We're from the same town, too. I have much shorter hair, though! lol

I had just gone through them the day before I read your post and I did not remember them having only one verse.Yeah, I guess it's ok for PW songs. I suppose if the listing did not mention PW then they might have wanted a second verse. None the less, I really like your song. Good job!

tvaters... congrats on your forwards! Which part of Spring Hill are you in? I'm nearly in Columbia. I think I need to update my profile pic since I've just recently gotten a hair cut. Not nearly as long now.chits... Thanks! By the way, your song that you recorded at Jimi's sounds great!jude3... Yeah, I wouldn't try submitting a song without a second verse unless it was for a modern P&W listing. gburgess.. Thanks!
