Well here I am – back home, though strangely enough the 5 days in LA felt like I was home in some kind of surreal sense. It will take a few days for the dust to clear so I won’t be able to post much. I literally ignored some deadlines to take off those days, and now it is marathon catch up time back here in the real world.I will post more in detail later, but for now here’s a very brief synopsis: This was my first Rally. I thought my expectations were unrealistically high, but the reality was they weren’t nearly high enough. This first Road Rally turned out to be the most meaningful and productive experience of my professional career – period. In four days I was able to amass information, wisdom and contacts that could have taken a decade or more to acquire by any other means - if ever at all.Thank you Michael. Thank you Taxi staff and members, especially you forum friends. I never imagined that an investment of a plane ticket and a hotel bill could change your life. I’m back home, but I will never be the same.Aub

Aub, you are an inspiring SOB. Let's steal a car at the next Rally. maybe Michael's Taxi.

Well, I for one was quite thankful that Matto raided his bar, and proceeded to talk the bartender into allowing us some space. In fact, I had the 2 Jack Daniels. That was at 4:30 am, like I even needed them. Quote:Quote:some contents of the minibar The mistake you made is raiding YOUR OWN mini-bar...
