The potential immigration hassle isn't worth the risk, when I factor in the decreased time that I could actually be present at the hotel for. I don't think they'd consider attending a music conference an emergency.One of the difficulties is, they were so all over the place about WHEN the passport regulations were going to begin that people have been terribly confused. The line-ups to get a passport in Canada have been ridiculously long & people have waited 2 and 3 months to get a passport. Thank goodness I got mine last year before all this began. They've started to deal with this, but it also means that 5 years from now, when they renew, the work load will be big.Steve, are you aware of the Simplified Passport Renewal?
