Hey Donny, This is really lovely - and would sound wonderful played live! Love your harmonies especially in the part before the rock beat starts, but the rest is cool too!Fingers crossed the live performance happens for you!Georgie

(Yeah Donny, we've been down this road before, haven't we!!)LOL yes we have John, but I keep plugin away with what I have to work with. I have over a hundred tracks completed now and all I can do is keep writing until something jumps through the MIDI and grabs the attention of someone that can use it. Thanks for your support John(Love your harmonies)Thanks for the listen Georgie, I come from a vocal harmony background and love it when a chord rings.

Hi Donny - Your stuff is so unique. Your pieces sound so confident, they know exactly where they're going, crafted beautifully. I'm a big fan. Keep doing what you're doing with the tools you have. Keep us posted on the orchestral performance. Good luck! Ethan.

I like what you've created Donny! I'd agree with the others here...this is good stuff for sure.Personally, 100% of the music I've submitted through Taxi has had at least one other person involved (co-writers, players, etc)...so I'm a big fan of working with other folks. If that approach leads you to getting your stuff played out with live players, then more power to you. Keep us posted, I would love to hear an ensemble pick this up!

Glad you like it Devin, So far I have done 100% of everything to do with my music. I have had a couple of other composers try to render one of my songs with samples but I come from a harmony background and if some of the parts disappear I can't accept it. If I find someone I trust to maintain what I have in it as they re express it I will just have to hand it over and let them do their magic. My son's name is Devon, he just arrived in Afganastan. He isn't in the military. Just a satellite expert.

Hey Donny - You don't happen to know an artist from Maui named Pierro Resta do you? Ethan.

I am not sure about his last name but I met him through a mutual friend named Johnathan Starr. The Pierro I know is middle aged, fuzzy blond hair, recites great poetry and spoken word.Donny

Hey Donny Pike!Veerry Nice! Great arrangements! Like the way it breaks into the rock section. That was COOL! Totally understand the situation with the sounds and all, but boy, this would probably really get some instant attention with more current samples and such. You did a really nice job on that guitar part, considering. Sounds like it took a bit of work, but it's really close. Excellent! Hope ya' get some bites with this one. Good luck!ibanez468

Thanks for the comment ibanez468, I listened to your Drums post, great sound! 2 and three were my favorites. I have always felt that my percussion was a weak point in my music so I now tent to let the instruments make the rhythm. Thanks again for the encouragement. At some point whether it be better samples or live players I will improve the presentation of my work.Donny
