GOOD JOB CHUCK........You know I did (3) tracks for this listing 2, and the ones that sounded like your's with the steel drums got shot down and the smooth jazz one that wasn't so Island d..got forwarded....I should have had your screener. Thanks everyone for the comments.This is the first Calypso track I've done. I tried to envision a band playing at the dock as you pull into port on a cruise ship and capture it's spirit. BTW The steel drums are a combination of a sample in the World section of Kontakt 3 (there has been some discussion about Kontakt 3, well worth the upgrade and/or investment in this version) and a steel drum sample from an EMU Planet Earth module.I think the combination help create the illusion of multiple players and the inherent slightly out of tune to each other effect.The guitar part is (unfortunately) real and not coming from a virtual instrument.
