Hey Jean-- Congratulations on your forward too!! Your songs always have a great feel to them-- makes me want to sip my tea at the local cafe, eat sweet pastries, and watch the romantic dancers flowing to your tunes... lovely! And with a president's forward, I'm hoping we all get that e-mail indeed!

Here is one of them:French Gypsy Waltz.www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=120896&stream=1Hope you'll enjoy and that we'll all get THE email;)THREE in one go? Wow! That's so impressive!I love the solo string in your piece. It sounds like a viola first; it's so throaty and gorgeous. Or is it a violin in its low register?

Hi CK Thanks a lot for your comments. It's a violin in the low register. Have a nice one

Hi friends! I just discovered this thread, and those are fun tracks everyone (CK, Raags, Jean), I love the diversity and the great sounds like in the indian piece, Raags! And of course I love the violin in the gypsy one. I got forwarded on this as well, my group Water Bear playing a tango-ish piece:http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... eam=1--Mer

CK, Raags, Jean, and Mer, wonderful stuff! Congrats to all.Beyond actually getting a contract offer, can you ask for more than having the president of the company screen and "forward" your submissions. You're more than halfway home. Great job.Mer. Recently I purchased a violin and (as time permits) have been learning to play. Needless to say, my appreciation for your gifted playing has increased about 1000%. Very nice!

Well thanks gburgess, and good luck with the violin-playing... I am so glad when someone is learning to play. My favorite tip to give to people (especially starting out) is to try playing 5-10 minutes each day, rather than an hour a week.--Mer
