My first country high bar forward

Post by sgs4u » Tue May 13, 2008 3:50 pm

hey all y'all,I got a forward today to a high-bar country listing. First time, and I'm ecstatic.http://taxi.proboards27.com/index.cgi?a ... &page=1The tune is We Never Mentioned Love.steveQuote:CONTEMPORARY COUNTRY SONGS are STILL needed by the Director of A&R at Major Nashville Label for a MALE Country artist a la TRACE ADKINS. All tempos are OK. This artist is still searching for four strong songs to finish the new album. If you already submitted to S080305CO, you may want to submit different material to this listing. Let's give them a hit... pull out all the stops! Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than April 18, 2008. TAXI #S080418CO

Steve, good job!! BTW, is that Neil singing? Or you? Or a demo singer? It's a good song and great singing. And the lyrics are about as true to redneck males (and some not so redneck) and their discomfort about saying "love" to each other. Great harmonies, btw. I really like this song.

Shocked me that they'd let this through for Trace Adkins, but good luck with it!
