Re: Where should I list this song? Help
Hi Domingo! Even though your voice has "too much reverb at the moment" (as you said above), I really like it...sounds very good!!What are your goals for your music? I read on your second bio that you're thinking of pitching your songs for other artists to record...did I get that correct? This section (peer to peer) is the best place to post a song that has been recorded, as it's the right spot for getting production tips and help when figuring out the music type ("genre"). To help others, feel free to copy your lyrics into the posting too, so the lyric writers can chime in easily.Nice to meet you...we'll chat more soon!

Re: Where should I list this song? Help
Hi Devin, thank you so much for the feedback. My goals are to pitch music to other artists to record, being a newbie I am still trying to understand listing and making sure the music i submit are on target for the listings/genre.I love to create music either instrumental or with lyrics which create mood and strong story lines. Its been over 25 years since I played and all by ear . Have gone from vocal/guitar to one man everything I guess. I will also post up the lyrics, to get some feeback as well.Once again thank you so much for your time and input.RegardsDomingoSheringo

Lyrics for: The lost world valley.
The Lost World Valley(Yes it’s a real place)Copywriter: By Domingo MartinezIt’s just a dot on the map, and I’m here, but didn’t expectA thousand stars are aglow, and the shadows they throwTake my breath away.An ancient valley lives below, and you can feel it, in your toesFeel the calm and the flow, giving life to your soulSo you can dream again. If you’re feeling lost at the crossroads of lifeNeed to make a turn from the doubt deep insideIt isn’t very far; it will open up your heart So you will dream again. There are those with expecting handsMine are open I give what I canAnd I know I’ve come far, when I look at the starsThey take my breath awayAnd all my cares awayIt’s just another dot on the mapAnd I’m here but didn’t expectThat I would dream again.Thoughts?RegardsDomingoSheringo

ringoVery cool.I like your voice. It is a little pitchy in some of the lower notes. This song might have some film possibilities.Very refreshing hearing something all together different.Got a good feel to it bud.paul

Re: Where should I list this song? Help
Hey Freaker, thanks for the feedback buddy.I really need to do a final mix to clean up the sound. I have purposely stayed away from doing a final mix, cause I'm still playing it over and over to get into the depth, of what I really what the end mix to sound like. I recorded the song over a few hours, but I find, that if I sit on the song for awhile it always opens up new ideas for the final mix. Thank you kind sir for the encouragement.RegardsDomingoSheringo
