Hi, posting all over the place won't get you more listens. Peer to Peer is the place.

I thought that the kick > thump...thumpthump was overdone and out of time. Perhaps a nice driving > thump thump thump thump on introduction. You know thump on 1-2-3-4. Grove wise the song would be better served and drive more if the bass and kick became as one. They seem to go separate ways. Perhaps double time click track would be helpful. The vocs are pretty good and the voc melodies are solid. The production could use more brightness and less low freq thump. Good luck.

You have a nice rock groove going. Thought the guitar break and drums overall could be more dynamic and the song, more sectional contrast. Would have been cool for the video to show musicians/singer actually performing in time with the song. What do you intend to do with the song?Vince

I'm with Carlos on this one, A solid drum beat would drive this along along, Maybe the old 1/4 beat Snare, Snare,Snare,(KICK),Snare beat would be interesting. It's a good song and I would keep working on it, Things like adding a response to your call at near the ending such as " Smile baby-- [background harmony response "Smile Baby"] would real polish this one up. The vocals stand out well and are sung nicely (kudos to the singer) but to me border on being over compressed or overdriven in the preamp a bit too much. Also a Solid Melissa Etheridge Acoustic sound would be something to consider instead of the treatment to the Acoustic opening.I'm not warming up to the guitar solo,.Vince has a good ear for this stuff and he's right about the drum sound, seems to me like the snare's compression should be revisited. The Bass Line could stand some creativity, this is a good mid tempo rolling down the road type of tune and I can hear some opportunities to funk up the bass part some. Come up with something interesting here and it could really pull the tune together.Overall a good tune that produced and arranged well will bring years of enjoyment, Craig

It's a good tune and the voc quality is there, it just needs the production.

The drums sneak in; that ain't rocknroll. The kickdrum's too loud and the lead guitar's too thin. Revisit the mix. The vocals sound pretty good. The song itself: lightweight, fun, listenable-pretty cool.
