Worth the bets?
Do U think these 2 tracks are worth the bets on this Experimental E "Casino Listing"?Just thought I'd also mention that I have received critiques for these two tracks b4 on 2 returns and the reason was that they were too Experimental... otherwise Gr8 tracks, according to both the screeners...So, my other question would be... Would that make their chances for this listing higher?.. after all, they're obviously asking for Experimental...Man, I don't know anymore... ... dazed & confused here...Dream Designer:http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... =trueThank U for Ur time...-KelELECTRONICA SONGS AND INSTRUMENTALS of all styles except House, is sought after by a well-known and widely used Film and TV Music Supervisor to add to his catalog for project considerations. He is particularly open Experimental Electronica but said he will be glad to hear "anything but House". This Supervisor has an outstanding track record, so he is very picky about what he will use. Please do not include any uncleared samples in your tracks. Presentation must sound great with top-notch instrumental and vocal performances (if applicable). Broadcast quality is required (great sounding home recordings are fine). Please submit one to three songs and/or instrumentals online or per CD, include lyrics (if applicable). All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than Monday, June 29, 2009.

Re: Worth the bets?
Why not? Both tracks sound good and have great variation in sound - a lot for the MusSup to work with. The listing is pretty wide open, and doesn't this qualify as Experimental Electronica? This listing has critiques, which could be reason enough to send tracks.Cheers.

Re: Worth the bets?
Thanks Ceedub, I think I'm suffering from S.P. (Submission Paralysis) having had these 2 tracks returned twice on 2 Electronica listings also with critiques. Hmmm, the fear is there...K

Kel,Listening to "Dream Designer." Sounds good, with some "extreme" sounds. I have the same question/comment as previously about the vocal parts--does that make this a vocal tune or an instrumental with some vocal snippets? If this has critiques, it might be worth submitting just to find out why you're getting returns (as CW suggested).V>

Kel,Yep, submit them. I like them, SHOCK is my favorite. This seems a perfect listing for them. It even says:particularly open to Experimental Electronicaand they want both songs and instrumentals, so the occasional vox in DREAM can't really hurt you .. let them decide if it is a song or not.As long as you've got the $10.Dean
