Acoustic IG88 song with vocals

IG, what did you want feedback on? Lyrics? Melody? Performance?What is your intended usage? Work tape for bigger production for hire? Demo as is? Self-produced Film/TV?Seems like a good start to a pretty mysterious singer/songwriter tune. Hook wasn't fully understandable, but that's not too uncommon.Vince

I like stuff like this where things are recorded live and honest. I think you should give this another shot and mess around a little bit with eq and mic placement, etc. You need some separation between the vox and guitar and while you can improve it a lot "fixing it in the mix" you might want to see how close you can get it while tracking-

No specific feedback requests really, just any comments on the whole piece, Mix, melody. Does it sound like something people would listen too? I was trying to take a breather from the more ambient electronica that I post on TAXI. I will keep working on it and re do the vocals with more dictation. Thanks again for your time

Just kinda put it down as an idea t expand on. Was posting it here to see if it was interesting and had potential. Thanks for your time and comments it helps a lot

It means a lot to me that you hit up each track i post in here. I owe you a few, i will jump over and listen to your work. Great Idea with the radiohead approach, I was thinking about adding ambient elements to the background, no beat but just to give it more of an IG88 taste. Thanks again for listening.
