Vulcan Makes A Pancake

Post by mewman » Fri May 08, 2009 3:58 am

A company I had two tunes forwarded to in January just contacted me and wants more music. This is a piece I just put together. I'd appreciate any feedback, especially of a technical nature. I've found the EWQLSO gold doesn't need much tweaking, but I hit this mix with a multiband compressor and a little eq in the lower and upper end to try and get it to sound a bit crisper.http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... trueMewman

I like the textures, the low splats, the scrapes, etc. Very Elfman of you. The ostinato figure gets a bit too repetitive. Try changing color and have something else play that same figure for say four bars to break it up.Great work!Steve

I love the suspense build. You're on the right track....I'm not an instrumentalist, nor do I know a lot of technical jargon, but it could be crisper, although I couldn't tell you how to fix it. That being said, it's still A plus!
