Uptempo Crime

Here's the listing:HIGH/UPTEMPO INVESTIGATIVE DRAMA INSTRUMENTALS are needed by an East Coast Music Publisher who has secured dozens of Film/TV placements for TAXI writers over the years. He is looking for exciting, driving beds ranging from Industrial Techno Rock to Orchestral styles that have a high intensity, powerful dramatic tone. He said "percussion rules", he wants "speed" and said "make it move, make it hot" with a climactic building to the end. He's open to any arrangement or instrumentation, as long as the tone is right. Excellent performances are absolutely necessary. He specifically said he wants to hear tracks that are :60 seconds in length. He doesn't want fadeouts, just clear endings. This is the first mix and I'm open to feedback on that. Also, is it "hot" and is the percussion ruling enough?Tempo is 185 but the bass has a bit more of a half time feel. Thanks,Mazzhttp://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=2346 ... am=trueFor those that can't stream: www.taxi.com/johnmazzei The piece is called Blue Screen
Evocative Music For Media

imagine if John Williams and Trent Reznor met at Bernard Hermann's for lunch and Brian Eno was the head chef!

Wow. I really dig this. It's a great acid jazz piece for sure! The opening 23 secs reminds me of MMW, one of my favorite groups. Wasn't completely in love with the synth lead that comes in to bring it to a close, seemed like it could be a bit more soaring. Great percussion sounds!! I'm jealous. B
