It's clearly Alternative Americana Neo-Traditional Bakersfield Contemporary Country, of course that depends on what region you live in. Nice tune!Andy

hey dave-with it's current singer (you?) i think americana closest, but if you have it resung with a "twanger", i personally think it could fly either way easily....and the chord structure is def Free Fallin', but with a dif vocal, that might kinda fall away too...LOL...one suggestion, in your hook line "leave it alone" when it's sung i'd clean it up a bit with fewer "leave it", "leave it" etc., too much "filler" IMHO, and pound the hook line "leave it alone, leave it alone..." seems a bit wandering the way it is. same suggestion for near the end with the tune, "all right"--wanders the tune a bit too much IMHO. also suggest a button ending....BUT all that said, i really DO like it mucho...the best, warrenps: working on a new folk-ish tune, called for now "You're Not Alone", but i'm gunna change it...and BTW, the production as matt just said up there is friggin' SUPER!

Dave,This really reminds me of "Free Falling", especially the beginning when the verse comes in... but it's real cool man.I'm really not good with genres especially in this category but if I were to give it a shot I would say this sounds... modern folk/alt country to me... hmmm, it's very soothing to my ears... nice.-Kel
