Re: Slow Down - new song
Thanks for the comments Andy & Paul.... it definately needs some harmonies & tweakin'..... But some input before going further keeps me from getting too caught up in myself. Hey Andy I see your from my neck of the woods! (Ohio) Chris

Just listening now...Nice and friendly song, if you get what I mean. Like the swing. Very approachable and radio friendly. MOR? Pleasant enough. Perhaps an album track rather than a single?I agree about Michael Buble!!Good workShawn

Re: Slow Down - new song
I do agree with the "dated sound" comments. I think it is CLOSE to broadcast quality.Drier, more up-front vocal would help. Some of the dating comes from the phrasing in the performance (particularly the word "dwelling." I was hearing some Weird Al in that one).I would avoid the reference to "GPS" as it is trendy and will limit the timeliness of the song. For the style, I think it is very good. Maybe more opportunity for film/versus song pitches? Thanks for sharing, hope this helps.Derek
