Got nothin' to complain about

Post by squids » Mon Apr 21, 2008 2:58 pm

Since I re-upped in November, I've had 7 forwards (I'm submitting less now and saving some bucks actually reading the listings, ) and been signed by two libraries, one of whom I really wanted and were both indirectly related to Taxi. So now I've got about 38 tunes signed (some multiple times) and I'm in five libraries all over the world. I'm a happy gal today, which makes up for the lousy singing job I did for Bmete in the studio this afternoon. Well, it only makes up for it with me. I'll have to work harder for Bob.

Hey Squids, congrats on your new deals ! As you know there are good days and bad days in the studio...Kinda like gigs If you didn't nail that tune today I'm sure you will tomorrow...I'm also sure that you will sign more deals and you're bound to have placements with that wonderful voice of yours ! Looking forward to sending you a rough mix very soon... Take care,Mike

Glad to see the smileys. & just so you know, a so-so vocal day for you is still better than what most can do at the top of their game.

Squids,I firmly believe that if you continue to write and submit, your work will become more and more recognized and before long you'll have royalty checks flowing in.I'm a fan.Mazz
