Looking for collaborators

Post by mcanty » Sun Apr 05, 2009 5:24 am

My first television placement is broacast tonight!! My song "Boom Goes The Dynamite" was placed in a cable television series and it appears tonight in the season finale. I also have a recent video game placement.I am seeking a partner who can create / supply very fresh, modern music tracks for me to create lyrics and melody. We split writing credit 50/50.I already have a good supply of musicians for country and rock tracks. What I need is a partner who can supply electronic, ambient, modern pop, and modern rock.I have a great selection of music libraries that represent me and you would also be represented.Everything 50-50.Must be able to create one track per week. Or have tracks on hand.Email canty.mark@gmail.com

Thats great about the placement, congrats. Its kosher to share the show title with the rest of us, so we can tune in and check it out--and please do.Apr 5, 2009, 8:24am, mcanty wrote:My first television placement is broacast tonight!! Congrats on your success' mark! I sent you an email as soon as i read your post, as i had noticed; the general styles you listed, are roughly the broad majority of the styles i write in... It was a very pleasant surprise for me to read your post, on account of the fact that just yesterday i was thinking; "man... i have so many musical ideas and instrumental compositions; yet many go unused and stack up because theres is simply not enough time. What happens is, i can produce an instrumental and put a composition together SO much faster than the time it takes to finish the lyric and melody. So they stack up and arent put to use. Its have been a lingering discontent for a little while, honestly. In case you have already found your other collaborators.. I posted this: In case some others may be interested in something like this as well.By the way, I had assumed you meant - instrumental compositions/accompaniments/tv mixes (pre- vocals) let me know if you meant something else... such as session work. (like for hire bassist, etc..) *I will provide you with some demos to hear if youd like. If youd like to discuss ideas or potential projects, please feel free to PM or email me @ james@soundscope.net. Jamie
