First off, let me say that you are USUALLY on one edge of berserk or another... So, NO, I didn't notice. And secondly, my bro, I'm SO glad to say CONGRATS!!! I'm a little amazed that, as many times as I've gone to your Broadjam page and listened to your music, I've never heard this one before. And this KICKS ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was laughing so loudly (with my ear buds in place) that I had no idea I would startle as many people as I did.Well deserved, my friend, and (IMHO) long overdue. Don't these screeners realize who you are?!?!?!?Ted

(sorry it's a dispatch listing)D080416TVSPORTS-RELATED SONGS in all styles and genres are sought by the Music Supervisor of a major cable TV sports network. They are open to various styles of Bands/Artists (Alt/Indie Rock, Hip Hop, Rap, Hard Rock, Indie Pop, etc.), but the lyrics need to be centered around sports-related themes such as victory-adrenaline-competition. The performances should sound excellent and be believable as a mainstream artist that might be heard on today’s radio. All songs should be uptempo/energetic and current-sounding, similar to what you might hear in the background of any televised major sporting event. Lyrically, you might want to think in terms of baseball but be sure to NOT be team specific. Lyrics should be universal enough to be applicable to many teams and game situations. The network has asked us to very selective when screening for this project, so please submit only your best material! Broadcast quality needed [excellent home recordings are OK]. Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS ONLY - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI. Submissions must be received no later than 2 PM PST, Wednesday, April 16, 2008. TAXI #D080416TV
