Black Eyed Peas Instrumental Forward

Post by dpmusic » Mon Mar 31, 2008 7:46 am

Current-sounding, "hot" HIP HOP/RAP SONGS & INSTRUMENTALS of ALL STYLES are needed by an LA-based Music Library headed up by veterans of that industry. They're more open to Pop/Rap a la Black Eyed Peas or Outkast, but are also open to street/hardcore Rap a la the Game or T.I. Male or female vocals are fine. Great vocal and instrumental performances are essential. No lyrical restrictions - all themes are OK [no profanity, though]. And make sure your samples are pre-cleared. They offer a non-exclusive, 50/50 split deal - you keep your original copyrights. Broadcast quality needed. Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS ONLY - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI. Submissions must be received no later than Mar. 19, 2008. TAXI # Y080319HHAddictedhttp://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=1015 ... trueCheers to all others who got the forward. Now I have to finish remixing some songs for that Pussycat Dolls listing.

Hey, DP.Very cool track. Congrats on the forward. BTW, that's also VERY reminiscent of some of my favorite old stuff from Kraftwerk. If you ever find a listing looking for that sort of sound, I'd say this is a sure fire forward for that, too.Nice work.Ted

As Cisko said, it builds nicely.Which kind of goes against the "hit them early with everything" school of thought too. I sat here listening to the intro, knowing there was some solid bass coming any second now...wait for it...wait for it...Nice job!
