Re: Bad Boy...need lyric and production help
"Is the bridge too wierd? Does it need percussion, and if yes, what type?"No...it's not "too" weird. I'd have a low 1 measure bass note drone with the changes. That would solidify the chord voicing as they clash a bit to me."This is my first attemp at a stereo mix. Tried to pan L and R. Is it balanced?"Everything is panned fine. You may think about left and right rhythm git parts to "modern" this up a tad."Do the lyrics make sense?"Rock lyrics don't have to make perfect sense IMO. "Is there any place for this type of song?"As of now its a 70's rock type tune and not broadcast quality...so, no... not many listings for that.

It's gives a more clever picture. I like the bridge you put in there, it really broke things up.I can't really judge stereo balance...I'm not qualified....one ear doesn't feel "dirtier" than the other...does that help? Andy

I've just simply started using my real name for everything online. I'm done worrying about what people might think. I've heard the Paul Shaffer thing more than a few times. I love him, he's so goofy. But he's a Hammond KING.

Wow...that was a great vid.I doubt if Lettermans show would have lasted as long without Paul. He's the perfect foil for Dave and some of the stuff he comes up with, song choices for guests...the odd musical segues and stuff that just fits perfect...he is DA MAN!BTW, I played in a trio, 2 guys one gal, and the key guy had a B3, so it was me and him picking that thing up and going up stairs, down hallways, into the van...damn that thing was heavy!Paul, you better come back and stop us from hijacking your thread.

I love it that Paul played with Nina Hagen. That Fearless album is the bomb.
