I think it's done...
Hey guys. I took feedback from you guys and laid down a maybe not so rough worktape but clearly rough-sounding worktape. Two main things I changed were "R-P-G's" has morphed into "mortar bombs" for technical purposes. Also, I repaired the the end of the chorus where the hook was getting lost because of all the lyric. I think I took care of the problem. Please give any feedback you can. Particularly regarding the end of the chorus. I want to make sure that flows better now.ThanksAndySTREAM: http://www.taximusic.com/stream/215070/ ... %202.mp3MY SITE: http://www.taximusic.com/hosting/home.p ... d=21953"My Time"©2009 Andrew Scott Willsverse 1When my Granddad was a boy,He said he nearly drowned,But his Dad jumped in the river,And pulled him out,He said had had other plans in mind,God's watch wasn’t set my time, chorusYou can walk through fire without a burn,Flip your car on an icy curve,And walk away,Drive a Humvee to the sound,Of mortar bombs coming down,Like rain,And all you can say,Is God has more in mind,This wasn’t my day,It wasn’t my time, verse 2In Europe he was shot,By the Germans three times,He belly crawled to safety,Across enemy lines,I asked “how did you survive?”He smiled and say “it wasn’t my time”bridgeMy time, is a blessing,Every breath I take,My time to go home,Is a choice for God to make, verse 3Now he's pushing ninety,He’s not moving too quick,Says he’s never felt better,Just slowing down a bit,He talks about leaving for the other side,Smiles and says "I'm taking my time"

Re: I think it's done...
Andy, I started to write more here last nite but my sons just learned Ozzie Osbornes song Crazy Train on guitar and bass and started having an "Ozzie Fest " in the other room and needless to say I lost my train of thought! So I like the changes you made. I think the chorus works well. Also, try your links. I have high speed net now and neither of the above links worked for me. I got to the song from one of your past posts . I think it may be wrong where it says "= me" Dave
