Cinema Soundtrack
Thought I would share my most recent project. It's a bit off the beaten path for me.One could liken this to electronica, except it is the opposite of electronica in that all 99% of the sounds areorganic in nature. Some public domain ethnic instruments and sounds sampled and triggered via the keyboard. Some looping etc...a lot more guitar in here than it sounds like. There are some rough spots but I have no need to iron them out yet until we start syncing the music to video as things will certainly change somewhat then._____________The background on the video is it is a 5 minute pictorial and video diary of a field soldier over in Afghanistan (my friends son). Some images are haunting, some are hopeful.Anyways, knowing the guy editing the video it could be some time until the video is ready to sync to the sounds, so I thought I would get feedback along the way.Any thoughts would be valuableCulture War lo-fi URL: http://www.soundclick.com/util/getplaye ... 65812&q=lo hi-fi URL: http://www.soundclick.com/util/getplaye ... 65812&q=hi

Sounds like a interesting project 333maxwell. It'd interesting to see it along with the video when it gets done. Its refreshing to see people showing some of the raw 'unspin' footage, as opposed to what is shown in the news media. Is it footage taken by the soldier? If it is, just make sure you have been cleared to use all the pic's and video in your documentary, so you dont get him in trouble. (in case you didnt know)With the instrumental; very eclectic sounds and it has an authentic eastern vibe to it. Is there something in particular you want to hear thoughts on?Good luck,Jamie

Hey guy,I already mentioned the bass hiss and other things over at Muse. Unfortunately, it still seems to be there. You said you had another version up?Not sure but it sounds the same to me.

I pulled out dramatic amouts of white noise and took out the errant guitar that was never supposed to make it to the final cut.. Thanks so much for the time.. honest, it is way better than it was from a noise perspecive.. as time allows I will redo the Bass track.. Appreciate it!
