Hey Joey,Very nice song and great vocals!Two things stick out to me. One you can chane easily, the other is a writing thing so it probably can't be changed if the the track is almost done.1. I think the flute in the verses is not up to current production arrangements. They really don't use it for this kind of tune.2. You lose the impact of your chorus by going to that high note in the setup. I think it's the same note as the CRY in the chorus. By going to that note in the setup it just makes the chorus feel less strong than it would be otherwise.The production is nice and although I'm listening over laptop speakers the mix sounds pretty balanced to me.Hope this helps,Cisko

Joey,This is very strong! I like what the flute does... if you wanted to change out for more of a modern pop/rock sound maybe a nice lead synth patch that's not too over the top.. or even strings or a more pad-like synth. I like the chorus. I really love your voice and the harmony on the last chorus!Regarding "Forever" I really dig the groove it sets up with the maracas/shaker and guitar. I like the song itself also. It would be cool to hear a higher harmony in the chorus. I think you've got 2 strong songs here and both are catchy. I think some sonic tweaking during the final mix will really make them shine and pop.

Joey, I really LOVED your "Forever" song! What a nice feel it's got-- LOVE some of those chord progressions, and the shakers. You created a very nice groove feel with those shakers, guitar grooves and conga beats. I agree with Patrick that I could hear some nice harmonies in the chorus parts, which are already very nicely done. I think a touch of harmonies could really pop it out even more. Super work on this song! I'm not a lyrics kind of gal, so I'll have to pass on that topic... Best wishes to you!Raags
