Mannequin Pigtails (Genre And Mix Help?)
Mix is still a work in progress. I would love some feedback on it in any way. How does it strike you. Are the vocals too scattered? Genre?http://soundcloud.com/ig88/mannequin-pigtails-sita

hey IG88,Like the song name. I dig the vibe and for this style I don't think vocals are too scattered since they're almost more like another instrument or pad than a real upfront vocal, but I'd like to hear something to bring a little more focus to them and that really may just be a mixing (EQ, compression, verb) issue.2nd thing for me is I'd like to hear some more movement or contrast in it. I like how it broke down for a bit around 2:30.My 1.5 cent.

Thanks Patrick. I was pondering more variation instrumentally, thanks for the ears. I will keep working on those vocals, at any point does it feel "out of tune"?

np.. the vocals did seem to drift in and out of tune here and there.
