IG88, I listened to "Staff Infection" on your myspace page and liked it a lot. Hard to give you deep feedback, as this is outside my usual genre(s)--I've done a little bit of it, but don't follow it enough to be of much help. The sound is very pleasing/solid, but quite understated compared to what is normally heard (no brickwall compression--yeah!).What I've seen work best on this forum is to ask for very specific feedback on one song at a time. If you focus what you're looking for from forum participants, you're more likely to get some useful comments.Hope this helps!Vince

Thank you vince this does help a lot. It is not the final mix thats why it is so quiet. I will post just one song at a time and be more specific. I am new to Taxi so I am still learning.

hey bro.. yeah I dig "staff" as well. I like the drum sounds. although this isn't a genre I know well I do appreciate the aesthetic. I tried to combine some the off kilter, syncopated rhythms like you're using here with some punk/rock on a project last year. It didn't quite turn out as I'd hoped in the end but was a good learning experience. http://driventocrash.com or http://myspace.com/driventocrashmusicOh yeah I'm digging Bacta Tank for real too. Really cool track. The piano and vocal end up fighting for space but I'm not sure if you're mix is done yet. If you're ever up for collab-ing on something hit me up man.
