I think the volumes fine...good track. The solo cello moves around in the stereo field a bit too much for my taste...but I don't know if it matters or not.

Jay,I like this. I think the 2nd one is better. It does not have the cello moving around in the stereo field mentioned by RLD. What listing is this for?Kurt

Hi Jay, Very nice !!! I found myself singing a vocal melody to this and , in my own head, hearing a great powerful chorus kick in. I am not trying to critique this because I am a more into the vocal songs. I will say that I enjoyed listening to that very much. Great Job!

Hi Jay,When I listened to the first version, I thought that you really needed to consider other voicing for the cello and guitar. This doesn't seem to be the case however. In your re-mix those voices sound much better placed and complementary.Obviously the re-mix is the stronger version. The big difference for me is that the second version has a greater presence of the passing chords played in the background. Version 2 had more depth in this regard, whereas V1 seemed to just hang on a chord.Good luck with this song.Al

Jay,Sorry I didn't get to this in time, but I did give #2 a listen. Guitar and piano sounds are a bit thin. Guitar break was cool and unexpected.Hope you get a forward.VinceP.S. Congrats on hitting the 1,000 post mark on the forum!
