Unknown Destination
Hi all, I am going to keep this short and simple. I am new here, My name is Tony and I have a new song. I am attempting to post a link to it (hope it works). I am looking for all comments good and bad. I can take it!!!!! LOL. The song title is Unknown Destination. This version was recorded by "work for hire" studio musicians and vocalists! i did not record this version myself. I wrote and assisted in producing it! Whatcha think?(V1)She's Headed for an unknown destinationShe's doin' all she can to surviveShe found herself in a dificult situationBut she don't need to hold it all inside(V2)Everything happens for a reasonTake life as it may come to youYou can't try to change realityBelieve in yourself and everything you do(chorus)The sun is gonna shine tomorrowLet the rain wash away your sorrowKeep your plans smalltownKeep your feet firmly on the ground and Save your Love for me(Music Break)(v3)They said that she was in a state of cunfusionThey said she don't really know which way to turnShe falls in love and she always ends up losingShe just can't seem to get the fire to burn(chorus)(Music Break)(chorus) www.taxi.com/tbennett

Hey Tony, Can you put your link to your music site up instead of the single song link? I can't get those to work with dial-up. I would like to hear your song. I tried to find your site on my own and could not. My link looks like this - www.taxi.com/dberdoulay Thanks and welcome! Dave

Tony, I really like this. Your singing is real nice. Has a kind of "Eagles" feel to me(before Joe Walsh). The back up vocals work well. All around I'm impressed. Production sounds good to me but there's folks round here with more of that expertise you'llprobably hear from. I'm glad I listened. You might like my tune "Leave It Alone", kinda you're style. It's on my site. Dave

Re: Unknown Destination
djb, I am glad you liked it. However, I must clear a few things up. I wrote the song years ago and while I do have a pro-tools system for the purpose of song-writing, this version was recorded by "work for hire" studio musicians and vocalist. There are a few reasons why I don't promote my own performing talents. The main reason is because I haven't focused on learning the production end of the biz and have struggled greatly with getting a GREAT finished production. I do take credit for the lyrics, the chord structure, BPM, acoustic Guitar rhythm and overall feel of the song. The "work for hire" talents really brought the song to life and deserve much credit for taking an "OK" song and making it sound much better than I could after several attempts. Anyway, My focus at this point is writing Lyrics, Vocal Melody's, and song structure. Basically I am dreaming that some day one of my songs just might get recorded by someone who is much more marketable than I am as a musician, If not, I will have some pro produced self written music that me and my friends/family can enjoy. I can also set around the camp fire with an acoustic and some friends playing these songs. Maybe someday I can posts some of these songs that were recorded here at home and get some pointers on recording, mixing, and mastering. I listened to most of your music on your page and I really like what you do, you have a music style that I have always been a fan of, I love feel of your rhythms. I will visit your page again and check out "leave it alone".

TonyKeep your plans small town. I like that a lot.I affraid you aren't going to get much help with this. Not much needed. The production is very good and the guitar exceptional.Voice is appealing, more so on the lower register. This is not your first rodeo:)Nice to meet youpaul

Feaker, Glad you like it! Since the posts from you and djb and others I decided to modify my initial posts above. I don't ever want to take credit for anything that I do not deserve.sorry for the confusion! I now know to give a little more info in my posts! LOL! Thanks for listening to it !
