Hey man, great song!!! I don't know if this is heavy metal as much as it is modern rock...I'm not sure? Heavy metal to me makes me think of guitar solos modern rock makes me think more about rythm. The drums to me don't have enough punch, and I kind of wish the vocals had a little more bite to them. I'm not a production genius but there's got to be a way to add a little more depth to the vocals.Sweet song man!Andy

On these cheap computer speakers, it does sound just a bit "thin" somewhere. Either the vox could be beefier, per Andy above, or the rythm could get fatter. I'd probably go with more of a guitar "wall of sound" approach, and leave the vox exactly as is, so it can cut through the guitars.Either the bass guitar or drums could play twice as many notes on the chorus, to get it to move faster...right now it feel like it's dragging a bit. The tempo works, just need more notes.Just my $0.02 as always...keep or sweep...great song!

that worked, i was able to listen, and glad i did..very nice tune...my only bitch would be the tinny-ness of the drums "snare" or whatever it is...and actually in the lead vocal as well, same high eq or tinny quality, would like it with a bit more depth...i'd like to hear the "backing" talking thing better--it's lost in the mix. i can't, and my ears are good! move it over, adjust it somehow (no producer here, sorry...) sounds like allot of the modern stuff my kids make me listen to, and i like this...very good effort. that's all i got...all the best, warren

CantyDidn't hear the first one and didn't read what other folks have said.Really like the tune. Vox, if it is yours is great. There is something high frequency that is jumping out as offensive? I am not at all technical, sorry I can't give suggestions.Don't know if this is going to be the killer hit on your first CD, but it will definitely shine in the mix.Good jobPaul

Middle of road production. Stereo field can be greatly improved. Guitars appear to be washed out and are not blending well with the bass. The bass sticks out pretty well. The drums are a mess eq and stereo field wise. May want to try to remove all effects and go with a minimalist approach. I hear a strong melody in the chorus and swear I can tell where you were trying to go with the song but the bad pieces really detract from what this song could be. Sorry.I would try 86ing all effects. Pan two guitar performances hard left and right. Mix with guitars and bass only to get the sound just right. Add drums with a much wider stereo filed and a light touch on the verb. Depending on the drums you have I would mix the kick with the bass and electric guitars firts. Once the instruments are tight then bring up the vocs.
