hi billy--i toohave never heardof Husker Du! no surprise, i don't remember (musically) allot of the 80's...lost interest...ok, on the tune i'm listening to now, i agree a clean up is in order, --the vox are way back, can't hear the lyrics (but read them, and they are just fine!,) --yeah, this is a bit on the muddy side, unlike the gaunce we know and love, so i'm wondering if you did this on purpose? actually, that's a compliment kinda...--musically, i find the long hold on the end lines of your verses may be a problem with this tune (maybe just for me...) but i find the falllllllennnnnnn, and calllinnnnnnnn, misfiressssssss, vampirrrrrrrre, and the rest just sucking (...sorry...couldn't resist) the energy out of this tune....if that makes any sense to you.--only other thing is musically in the chorus i think a more distinctive and strong harmony we can more clearly hear would really help IMHO.ok, that's it. damn, i'm almost feelin' guilty here man, there has never been a tune of yours i didn't dig--so far, this may be the first,,,,but hell, you ARE human!!! damn, i was hoping not...all the best!warren

Its a pretty free jam Bill. I did listen to the link you posted of Husker Du for contrast and I'd say that you are pretty close to being on target. I am having a tough time making out the words without the lyric sheet but you did say that was your intent.
