Warren, this works great as an instrumental! Not so sure about for a video game, but butt-kicking commercial spot for something!

Hi Warren,I agree that the lack of melody could help you here. However, it seems that you could still maintain that lack of melody and add something to fill in the spots that are minus lead guitar. Maybe sax or raunchy organ. Don't get me wrong - the track is superb. But there seems to be something missing in just a very few spots. On my 5th listen and I'm thinking :15-:24 could use some solo improve instrument. Guitar sounds great at :43 but then there's a hole in the up front until 1:00 when the chorus kicks in. If that hole is going to be filled with a voice over well it's perfect - but if not you may want to consider filling with something. Man this thing is so close to done. My recommendation would be to experiment with some things to fill those holes.Next listen : great guitar up to :13 but then it's driving - no doubt - but it just seems to be missing the out front clincher. I'm thinking don't change a thing just add a wild organ or sax or something to fill the holes where the lead guitar is not playing. In my mind it has everything it needs except for that. I mean - it is driving and pumping all the way. Just my thoughts... Kitz

hi kitz!!hey thanks much for the listen--you are very very correct my friend, i basically took what was a vocal tune, Let's Drive, that i was having resung anyway with a dude that has a more modern vocal (i MAY post it later when it's done being mixed, but it aint much diff than my other one..., and had them cut the verse music (those holes you're hearing no doubt...man you would have fallen sound asleep with me BEFORE THE CHOP...lOL...) and tried it on for size.it may very well work for something like it is now, but i guess i'll post the new vocal version when i get it--it may solve some of the problem, but yes, it does and can need to stand on it's own. I WILL CONSIDER EXACTLY WHAT you've said, and others as well....just have 3 more projects in the hopper right now...but i do appreciate the words/wisdom by you and all on this ditty.all the best my friend, thaks much, warren
