I may do as you suggest though for a more elaborate version. Will start looking for some concert pitch spoons! Horse romp!? It wasn't supposed to be for the Benny Hill show yer know!!

If I may Dave, I'd highly recommend micing the bridge as well and the 12 or 9th fret and blend the two to taste. I'd also HIGHLY recommend an iso boot mate, it will take your great performance and give it the focus it really needs. I thought I heard ambient noise in track, having as little ambient noise as possible really helps went cutting the headroom as there will be less noise as you have the track louder! Iso booth = AMAZING acoustic and vocal tracks!!! ;-) wta

right on Dave...i think this ending sounds very natural!i have also thought hard about the stereo-panned guitarsyou did a good job doubling them...but i want to warn youas..one of my songs i submitted (although i got forwarded yay)was considered by the the screener to be a bit out of phase sounding..not the guitars..but the drums..this is a great track and thats why i am writing again about ityou take your peers feedback to heart!: ) i think with a last modification its gonna be submission ready and fit!Devin, Warren..other fellow taxi friends..do you have advice in how to edit the stereo panned guitars sound less phased?

Thanks Will.I was thinking about a booth just the other day!Might price one up. Without telling the missus! And I'll try some different mic positions.Yeah Geoff, I thought the two guitars sounded fine for effect. Listeners might think different!Had to pull a few of them closer together though. I'll see what others suggest on that. And Warren. Yeah, the girls being chased round the trees was the best bit! The humour was a bit corny though. I was surprised it took off in the States. I always preferred Monty Python!

Very very tasty Dave. That Skegness air is clearly working wonders! Congrats on the new Ovation.Just as a BTW,I like Southpaws idea about using marimbas. It would give it an exotic feel.Michael.

I'll listen afresh later, then maybe look at some percussion for another version.Yeah, Skegness air. Won't be playing percussion outside, that's for sure!Cheers,Dave.

geoff,Phase issues can be tough. My DAW has a switch on each track to reverse the phase, but usually that just shifts the phase problems to other locations. Only luck I have had is to actually make a cut in the audio on one of the tracks around the time with phasing and just slide the clip a tiny bit left or right--worth trying. Also, might go without saying, but when you say "stereo-panned guitars," you mean 2 guitars recorded in mono, but panned left and right, correct? If you have 2 stereo tracks, that does make things more difficult.Vince
