Re: Let it Go. Pop or Rock?
Nice track!Possibly pop, but leaning more to rock I would say.The guitar sound gives it that Stones feel, but I alsogot Badfinger vibes too. It's catchy, an' I like it!!
I put the kettle on, it didn't suit me.

Thanks Dave. Cool... your from England. Maybe you'll be able to tell me if it has a more Englishy vibe or an American one... by the way I'm an Essex Boy at Heart!

I'd say definitely English.Late '60' early '70's feel, but that's down to the lesley. Could sound more recent with a different production. In the '70's we used to have a great program called "The Old Grey Whistle Test". While "Top of the Pops" catered for pop, Whistle Test featured rock bands and musicians. Anyway, point is that this is the sort of music that would have featured on there.Even better on second listen!Great stuff!!

I love the tune!! Would like to see the lyrics. Nice progressions. 2nd mix seems better to me - but I might like to hear just a little more bass & snare and a just little less cymbals still. This is really nice!! A lot to consider mixing this puppy I'm sure. Keep it up!!!Kitz

this is very cool! Hard for me to pin down what category but I thought John Mayer a bit. Power Pop me thinks is a good label...
Music is like oxygen, you can live without it but not for very long...

Nice track! I think this leans towards rock. It's kind of a light rock, but I still think it's rock. Most evidently to me I think structurally it is a rock song, let alone distortion, etc. It's kind of like a modern Rolling Stones vibe.I likeAndy

Thanks to all those who gave their feedback. I've put the final tweak on my Weekly Songcast link. It helped a lot and will help for the subsequent tracks I record too. Now, hopefully over the next day or two I'll have some time to give back a little and have a listen to and comment on other people's music here. Thanks again everyone.
