Thanks Cam, Jonathan and devin for pitching in. They asked for it ASAP, which usually means that have an avenue to pitch it directly for scene in post-production right now.If anybody cares to go back and listen, I did another mix with organ removed and guitars panned more. I'll probably submit that way, so thanks for the advice.Same link as before, but repeating it here (Title: You Can't Have Everything): http://www.taxi.com/ideascapesVince

Yes, that's going in the right direction. They'll appreciate your responsiveness, too!Man, you and billg just crank 'em out at record pace! I need an emoticon that's green with envy to insert here.

That's sounding closer, I think. Unfortunately, I'm on a really bad sound card...how wet is the vocal on your system? I think a little bit drier vox is more current for the average tune (unless you're going for a really wet effect). Don't forget to listen in mono a few times too, to hear how those guitars are interacting with the reverb on the vox. There may be a button on your 2-buss that does that for you (it is on Cubase).Submit for sure Vince, and let us know of your glorious triumph!

Hey Vince, jumping in late on this & probably too late. This is waaay better I think. Maybe the vox could be a bit drier but hopefully not a deal breaker for you -

Hey Vince,Nice track<my $.02>I think the drums sound kind of dated, maybe mix-up the fills a little bit, get a heavier sound overall, particularly with the kick/bass pocket; possibly find a groove that isn't quite so straight; a tom groove on a section might be cool. See if you can expand the guitar sound a bit too. It's cheap and gimmicky, but doubling, panning hard left/right and affecting differenty works for that.</my $.02 [virtually worthless when adjusted for inflation]>That said, I hope you're going to submit or already have submitted this. Great work; particularly for a short time frame. Let us know how it goes....eRich
