Love the production and quality of the track!!I started out thinking this would be a great song for kids, very creative and imaginative!! Burger King, Exxon - struck a nerve - I don't have fond feelings toward these institutions so that's probably just me. And while "sex on" does rhyme with exxon it removes about 3/4 of your target audience IMHO. So the only suggestion I have would be to replace those two lines to make it more user friendly. Definitely enjoyed the listen!!KitzHi Kitz! You may be right about that...this is a very kid-friendly song, and then all of a sudden there's shagging at the truckstop. But man oh man it will be hard to say goodbye to my weirdest rhyme ever. Jean Luc Ponty! I love him--I used to listen to his electric violin and just marvel. I especially like his work with Zappa, and I took sort of a Zappa-esque approach to this thing too. But the Jean Luc I'm referring to is Jean Luc Picard, captain of the starship Enterprise. Jean Luc! Thanks Kitz!-Mark

Hi mark.Just pointing something out that may or may not have been important. If I wrote a song and someone spotted a word I unknowingly used that may possibly be offensive in America or elsewhere I'd appreciate someone letting me know. And yes, it was banned by the BBC, even though, having polio himself, Ian Drury wrote that song to highlight the plight of disabled people.Anyway, here endeth that saga. I don't mean to preach!Song sounds great to me, and you're getting some good feedback.Glad you like Nilsson, he still is one of my favourite singers.Look forward to hearing it when it's finished.Best Wishes for Christmas!Dave.

Dave, just so you know, I very much appreciate the concern you brought up--it troubles me. I do know you're not preaching, you're being helpful. If this song actually goes somewhere, I will need to address this one. So thanks! -mk

Okay then, if I ever get a foothold in the UK I guess I'll have to change the line to "drastic elastic" or something.Doesn't that just figure...I love the word spastic.Come to think of it, did Ian Dury's "Spasticus Autisticus" get banned?Or "plastic ognastic" (agnostic didn't rhyme).Great, fun tune Mark! And hey, if the "Absinthe Makes the Heart Grow Fonder" and New Tarp on the Trailer" guys like it, you know it's gotta be good!Oh yes, the Gauge mic sounds nice too!Cam

Before I saw this comment, I was thinking that John Lennon would have loved this song. He was the one that pushed the Beatles in this direction.Mark. Someone has a lot of sides to them. In this song--Funny. Nutty. In other songs--Serious. Thoughtful. Some say, "A man is what a man eats." I say, "A man is what a man writes."GB
