New OLD rock
I guess this is going to be my last entry for the "sixties' garage rock" listing. I think this one is the best out of the last bunch. All comments welcome! It's called "Say Yeah"http://www.billgaunce.com/song/107

Re: New OLD rock
Thanks folks. I was specifically wondering if the vocals were loud enough or too loud but wanted to see if anyone said anything WITHOUT my asking (oh, well now that you mention it LOL!). So I guess I'm leaving this one and moving on to something else. Thanks again!

BillHow the hell do you keep doing this?Back then you had to really work on the gals to have them say yeah. I will be amazed if anyone challenges any part of this tune.Nobody appreciates this more than a guy who lived the sixties. This would have been a hit. Maybe still will?Pat yourself on the back bud.paul

hi bill!this IS awesome and very 60s. i'm listening on little speakers, kinda like the 60's lol, and hear it well. only suggestion might be in the 2nd verse, bring in the harp just for a bit more interest...but hell, all said, i "say yeah!"the best, warren

Re: New OLD rock
Hey Bill- This sounds great and authentic. Very catchy tune. The only issue that I could spot would be the length of the song. It clocks in at around 3:21, and I think a lot of those garage tunes hovered somewhere between 2:40- 3:00. It's a minor thing, but you know from experience the nit-picky nature of these listings.Wade

If I chopped them off I'd be around 3:05. I could probably chop off another 10 sec, from the long breakdown.Since this is for an artist pitch someone else is gonna record it again anyway, I can't imagine getting a return because it's too long but you're right . . . it sounds like just the kind of thing that would happen. I think I'll do a little chopping & see how I like it before I decide. Thanks for the heads up Wade-
