A Note to my fellow p2p soldiers...

Post by wta » Sat Jan 03, 2009 5:49 pm

I'm just wanting to touch base and say sorry I haven't been reviewing as much as I would have liked over the last few weeks, Christmas consumed my schedule but I have been with you in spirit! I had two big gigs this holiday and starting a new band and working on new tunes with my local band and I had a shower at least once in there somewhere... So I could have showered or critiqued music! My wife felt I made the right choice but then again she lives down wind of me... I do want to say that I will be limiting my reviews specifically to rock and acoustic singer/songwriter stuff as those are my specialities and I'll leave the other genres to others more equipped to give best advice. With that if anyone is working on a rock tune or acoustic piece I'll keep my eye peeled for the word "rock" or "acoustic" in the headline or feel free to send me pm anytime as my ears are here for you Hell we're all in this together! ;-) wta

Thanks William. I now know to put "Acoustic Rock" in the title, even if it's "Electric Classical" music I'm posting...V>

Hey William,I'm sure most of us can relate. As great as it is, this forum can become a time drain, and it's easy to let it get in the way of the real reason we're here. I've had to cut back a bit too just because I found I wasn't meeting my goal of one "decent" song per month. Still love ya'll though.Cam

Yeah I been outta the loop with holidays and such.. and I agree with Cam... I found myself spending more time posting here than writing/being productive ha ha. but the upshot is that this a great community and I've learned from the feedback already. I'll just have to make sure I balance my time well (I'm bad at that )
