Hi,Thanks for all the great advice- I have purposely not listened to the tune for a day or so, just to get fresh ears back, now armed with all these great suggestions I'm going to see if I can get this tune to a higher level. Thanks for the advice, I'll post a revised version ( hopefully soon) Bob

Wow,Brought the bass line up and added compression( thanks Billg), an amazing transformation. Dropped the bass drum line out totally( will add a few kicks here and there) Can't thank you all enough, now to learn about "dessing".I repost soon! Thanks!Bob

Hi Everyone!First, I would like to thank you all for such great input for this song. Per a lot of your suggestions, I made a number of modifications, and I think the overall quality of the tune is a lot better now. I am posting the revised version and have left the old version up as well as a before and after. Thanks again for your help, Janet & I both appreciate it!Christmas Came Early This Year- Revised 12/17/08http://www.reddproductions.net/christmascameearly.mp3Bob

This is a lot better guys. I like the bass level, it's just right for me. I don't know if I mentioned it the first time or not, but I like the sax solo, it's very good. And again, I can totally hear Carly Simon singing this. Is she still around? Surely she needs to out a Christmas album out.Andy
