Bob, Chits,Real good song. My main problem with the original was in understanding the words/clarity of the vocal. That is better now.Dean

Thanks, Liam, Ideascapes and Dean for your comments on the jazz version.....yeah, Dean, Bob fixed the clarity of the vocals now, and I agree, he did a great job with the final mix.

C & BQuite beautiful all around!! I love the vocalist on this! A bit Judy Collins like... Next year, start marketing this heavily about mid-year. Obviously, it's late for this season. In my headphones, it feels like the vocal should be out front a bit more in some spots so it and the words shine more. (Mixing is, of course, not what I know best!)OK, here's my "left field" suggestion of the day... I know the lyrical theme is based on Daddy being in the war overseas. That can have great applications-- maybe even send it next year to military organizations, directly overseas, etc. And I do love it... BUT you have the makings of a timeless classic here with the beauty of "Christmas came early this year" and so much more in the words. Consider a recording with an alternate set of lyrics which are more 'generic', love-story oriented. You would multiply your opportunities by thousands. Tons of publishers and film/TV folks look for great Christmas songs every year and being too specific is limiting.Merry Christmas!!! A beautiful song like this is something you should consider one of your Xmas presents to yourselves... Sit with the lights dimmed low by the fireplace or just the tree with a glass of wine and revel in it... Casey
