Late to work (a frantic sound scape)
I started this one out as a bit of electronica for a project, then all the sudden I started throwing guitars in.. next thing I knew was I created what I call 'rocktronica'..Does it convey the message? Being late for work.. the hurry to get down the highway.. etc etc?Any thoughts would be useful as I hash this one out and try to save it from myself.. Re: Late to work (a frantic sound scape)
333,Rocktronica, eh? Works for me. Nice sound here. I think I'd shorten the intro (sound EFX). I don't necessarily get a "rushing" feeling from this song--I think the tempo would have to be faster, the instruments more frenetic. (And more cursing, if you're in my car!)Sonically, there's a lot going on in the mid range throughout (drums?) and the guitar lines are getting lost. Since the axe seems to be the lead instrument, I'd look at thinning things out for it to shine a bit more. I can hear the guitar, but I have to work at it.HTH!Vince

Ideascapes.. thanks for the time and thoughts.. remind me to never go driving with you and your car! Maybe re-naming the song to 'almost late for work' would be easier than making it any more frantic then.. *L*I'll keep toying with it.. i'll work on the eq a bit too.. as I am deaf in my right ear it is always good to have another set of ears shooting me in the right direction.Appreciate it!Peace!

For anyone in cyber land who may of paid any attention to the original, I did do a bit of remixing trying to make it more 'late for work'ish'.
